Safaris:
Arusha National Park: This park is close to Arusha and offers a great introduction to wildlife viewing. You can see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various monkeys. It's also known for its beautiful scenery, including Mount Meru.
Tarangire National Park: Known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, Tarangire is a great choice, especially during the dry season (June-October).
Lake Manyara National Park: Famous for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos, Lake Manyara is a smaller park but packed with wildlife.

Activities:
Mount Meru Hiking: If you're up for a challenge, consider climbing Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. It offers stunning views and a great acclimatization climb before attempting Kilimanjaro.
Cultural Tours: Visit local villages to learn about Tanzanian culture and traditions. You can interact with Maasai communities or explore the historical sites in Arusha.
Coffee Tours: Tanzania is known for its coffee, so take a tour to learn about the process from bean to cup. You can visit plantations and even participate in roasting and brewing.
Waterfalls and Hot Springs: Explore the natural beauty of the area by visiting waterfalls like Materuni or relaxing in the Chemka Hot Springs.
